had 12 quids fifty on spain -1 for **** sake, ****ing hate handicap bet every time i do it ****s up
also had an acca and that was the first one. when this happens to you do you have the same bet with the other teams or do u accept that teh bet is lost. im tempted to bet on the same without spain
Yeah I sometimes do that if I'm convinced it'll win - it usually doesnt though.
yeh depressing isnt it, feels like loosing twice. i did it once while in a restraunt with a girl, got a text that argentina had lost so went to the bogs to phone in another bet for the rest of the acca. was convinced it would win they were all bankers. sat down at the table and realized i still had to pay for the meal (all of it it was my treat) and i'd just blasted all my money on the bet. tried to drag the meal out as long as possible, didnt work. tried to pay the bill on the card anyway but got humiliated as it declined. she had to pay on her card, well embarassing.

bet lost anyway, lost the lot
ouch
I got suckered by some of the games in the last world cup, was putting on some ridiculous sized accas because they all looked good on paper and then ended up re-doing them when one of the teams lost.
Didn't win a single one and ended up over 300 quid down - think thats the closest ive come to having a 'problem'.
We are poor. Poor tactics, wrong players, poor manager. This does not bode well as I can't imagine we'll get rid of Bob Bradley in this WC cycle. Just not enough talent in the team. Also, I think refs love giving a red to USA players. Two games, two red cards. Just brutal.

FIFA is to discuss the future of the vuvuzela, the noisy plastic trumpet blown at the Confederations Cup which has drawn complaints from European television stations.
FIFA president Sepp Blatter told a media briefing he was aware of complaints the din of the instrument was drowning out the commentary of broadcasters and that they wanted it banned at this tournament and next year's World Cup in South Africa.
Blatter said football's governing body would discuss the matter with the organisers.
"It's a local sound and I don't know how it is possible to stop it," he said. "I always said that when we go to South Africa, it is Africa. It's not western Europe.
"It's noisy, it's energy, rhythm, music, dance, drums. This is Africa. We have to adapt a little."
Vuvuzelas, which have been given away free to fans, are a constant background to Confederations Cup games.
Spain midfielder Xabi Alonso said: "I think they should be banned. They make it very difficult for the players to communicate with each other and to concentrate.
"They are a distraction and do nothing for the atmosphere," he added after his team's 1-0 win over Iraq.
FIFA general secretary Jerome Valcke said last year the vuvuzela would not be banned unless it was used as a weapon by fighting fans.
