I think City have bought very well this summer.

I think they paid well over the odds on every player they bought, none of whom are top quality. But they'll do well enough.

Personally I think a club spending the sums they have could have bought some better players. Surely they could have attracted better.

To be fair they were never going to attract Kaka, Ronaldo and Messi straigt away. It might take a few years for that.

Adebayor, Tevez, Barry, Lescott etc etc....

Maybe not world class, but still top quality footballers. They're a top 6 side already.

They've bought as well as they probably can, given that they're a nobody in world footballing terms. As AA says, they were never going to get the best of the best.
