There is no way they will replay the game as it sets a dangerous precident. The previous incident was a technical error if you replay every game because of the referee no seeing a major incident alot of games would be replayed.

Well, here we are in a room with two manky hookers and a racist dwarf. I think I'm heading home.

This is true however, this was a world cup place decider, the game should be replayed to set an example to everyone. Anyway not one of the 300 people who work at FIFA have made a comment yet, will be interesting to hear what they have to say, whaterer happens.Originally posted by Exiled_red View PostThere is no way they will replay the game as it sets a dangerous precident. It was a 'world cup decider' a hugely important game but any side could argue that in group stages of qualifiers a poor refereeing decision could ultimately cost them in the same way, the same in the group stages of the finals or knockout rounds.Originally posted by kingfunk View PostThis is true however, this was a world cup place decider, the game should be replayed to set an example to everyone. As the worlds governing body the example set could impact on individual football associations having similar impacts on league and cup games, in the premiership alone there are wrong decisions which could ultimately cost a team the title or cause them to be relegated, which is as important to a club as a world cup place to a country. The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

i think this is why it defintely wont be replayed.....there were many points to be played for and ireland only have themselves to blame for being in the position they were in ( and FIFA if you blame the last minute seedingsOriginally posted by Exiled_red View PostIt was a 'world cup decider' a hugely important game but any side could argue that in group stages of qualifiers a poor refereeing decision could ultimately cost them in the same way, the same in the group stages of the finals or knockout rounds.

). Thierry is a cheating cunt, but not many in football who would not have done the same thing.

Sorry, the anger was just so intense that I just couldn't understand how he could go over and commiserate with Richard Dunne after what he'd done and then hug him like it was just bad luck. Richard Dunne didn't have the benefit of a video replay at the time, because if he'd seen it, he probably would have told him where to go and shove his apology. Henry is just trying to save face by saying it just bounced off his arm and he didn't mean it, when it's clear that that just isn't the case.Originally posted by Ballykissdevil View PostIn fairness (oh, the irony of using that word) he didn't act as if nothing had happened. He looked utterly guilt ridden at the end and has now admitted he did it. He could've blatantly denied it.
Dunne has spoken:
http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/f...y-1823317.html
Dunne said: "He told us we deserved to win. How is that supposed to make me feel? It makes me feel worse. He's admitted he cheated. We should have won. He just said, 'That's it'. He just said he handled it, he didn't mean it. Looking at it, it's quite obvious he did mean it. It's there for everyone to see and they're not going to change it now. So what can we do? They're going to the World Cup and we're not. That's it."

I'm honestly truly flattered that some of you have called me a WUM
WUM: a teaser, especially of gullible people
If only the ENGLISH dictionary would be replaced by the URBAN dictionary the world would run far more smoothly.
Back to the topic in hand. Why is the irish government getting involved with the French, this is football; a sport.Bit of light entertainment not a famine crisis or a diplomatic issue.Last edited by Baracus; 20-11-09, 02:10 AM.

I was actually thinking that earlier.Originally posted by Imy View PostDoes anybody else think that if they did replay the game the French would thrash Ireland
Replay wont happen anyway."Let me say for the record, I am not a gangster and never have been. Im not the thief who grabs your purse. Im not the guy who jacks your car. Im not down with the people who steal and hurt others. Im just a brother who fight back."

Please explain "dimlopmatic". This does not appear in my ENGLISH or URBAN dictionaries. That rug really tied the room together.

Did i say I was done with the thread at any point, check my posts, I said 'Thats me done, without the abuse', Operation said quit having the last word, and Reece said cut the abuse, something which you have failed to grasp, using the great english word 'tosser'. Another word from the prestigious urban dictionary.Originally posted by kingfunk View PostYou really are infatuated with the whole subject, cant stay away from it, what did you post earlier? Also if your trying to be analytical about 'being infatuated with the whole subject' i've not posted in this thread for over 7 hours, where as you have every 1hr.
Whats the word I'm looking for you, your either ...slow(halfwit)... or highly intelligent(sarcastic), keep the good work up. And keep reading the urban dictionary, it goes a long way in helping one gain a grasp of the English language.Last edited by Baracus; 20-11-09, 01:42 AM.
