Yeah he should hit the training paddock in fine form but the problem comes later in the season due to fatigue. We had high hopes when he first arrived & he seemed to go off the boil last season. But apparently he was moved about to help his development so the high hopes are back.

You are sort of right, he went off the boil big time 2 seasons ago but last year he started to get back to form again. I didn't like the fact they were playing him out wide though last season. From Mostar's clips, you can see he how he dictates the game from the middle. He plays the Xavi role almost, but he is a bit more progressive and direct in terms of attacking.

Borrell and Segura worked hard on his mental and physical side. He was very good in the middle but weak tactically during a tough game. Those two years on the wings and in deep defensive positions has hopefully paid dividends.

Really really hope he proves to be a hit this season. We should be looking to renew his contract soon too!

I know this is going to sound silly but is there any way you can post that quote or article to Suso on his Twitter? With Suso being away, I doubt he has spoken to Buck much or read that article and I'm sure he'd appreciate it. Who knows, it may give him a confidence boost even though he's already playing amazingly well for Spain.
