I reckon he might be good enough for a squad place (similar to Alberto).

I like Suso but he would not slot straight back in if he does come back next year.

Competition for places with be even more difficult next season and even though he improved I don't think it'd be enough.

that's my concern too. Maybe a loan in the Prem would be best for his development?

I don't know he could be a valuable squad player next season if things keep going well at Almeria, we a short of bodies and if we get into Europe we'll need several more.
