Thanjk you.

I think it would be a huge mistake to let him go. We have signed so many youngsters over the years, and none ever seem to develop. At this point it just looks like we are either wasting our money, or are completely incompetent.
Suso is the first one who has looked genuinely good enough. He did really well last year on loan. Perhaps he could do with a year at another Premier League club. The problem we have is that we do have a genuinely good forward line, but that's not to say given the chance he wont have a similar impact to Sterling. It took him 18 month from his first appearances in the league to really knuckle down. Suso is still very young, and being that most of us don't expect to keep Suarez for longer that another season, it would be stupid to cast aside a potential replacement for next to nothing.
Lets not forget he was away for the whole of last season, so its hard for Rodgers to make any kind of assessment. Based on his performances in Spain, I cant imagine why we would be considering losing him.
In the beginning, Fowler created the Heaven and the Earth.

Doesn't look like he'll ever be a world beater but certainly good enough as a squad player. Keep him
Potential replacement for Suarez is a bit far fetched. If we can replace Suso with someone like Max Mayer, I would be delighted.
I do think Rodgers wants to keep him but I don't think Suso fancies hanging around and fighting for a place in the team. His future at the club is pretty much down to him and I think it is a bit unfair to have a go at Rodgers or anyone else if it is decided to move on.

Yeah, but we have Suso now for nothing. We can start to bed him with the massive increase in games we are likely to have next season, and just maybe he can hold his own, whereas if we sell him now for next to nothing, we may have lost a very talented youngster. Its not like we have a huge wad of cash to spunk on a replacement. He is better than Aspas and Borini (who is three years older). The only thing that counts against him is his size, but Sterling has shown that you can be small and strong.

Don't get me wrong, I agree with what you are getting at (apart from the Suarez bit), but all this is dependant on Suso being willing to fight for his place in the squad. If he's not willing to do that then he's better off elsewhere, for our sake and his own. When young players start demanding playing time, alarm bells should start ringing.
I'd love him to break through this season, he clearly has a lot of ability. I think he's a better player than Alberto and he had a few opportunities to prove himself last season. He could prove to be better than some of our new £20m signings. I hope he gets a chance.
I would like to see him tried in a deeper role during pre-season. Coutinho surprised a few people playing well there last year and if Suso can work as hard defensively as Coutinho did, then he can excel there.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?
