He made little impact in his time in Spain. Thems the times to impress.

If we sell him now we won't be making much money on him at all.Originally posted by SB View PostAs long as there's some money to be made by us I'm ok with that

Agree & that's why I've been saying we need to sign him on a Better contract & if he's not gonna make it in a years time then we sell.Originally posted by captainfog View PostIf we sell him now we won't be making much money on him at all.Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Hopefully we can get a sell-on or buyback clause.

It looks like it sadly.Originally posted by dom9 View PostHe's off then.
Shame. I think he's a fantastic prospect, a wonderful player with loads of potential.
I'd like to bring him back and try to fit him into the first eleven somehow. Or at least make him an important squad member.
What's held Suso back is he's constantly shoved out of position into positions that he's clearly not comfortable in.

I don't see how that would be possible, presumably he'll be looking to play in the hole off the striker(s), depending on the exact system we play it means he'll be competing with one of Suarez, Sterling or Coutinho for that role and at the moment all three are ahead of him.Originally posted by Lee View PostIt looks like it sadly.

Best case scenario is we play a very attacking system with a front 3 of Suarez, Sturridge and Sterling with him or Coutinho behind, given he would effectively just be competing with Coutinho he would almost certainly be 2nd choice but he would still get a decent amount of game time given the number of games we'll have and that Coutinho is probably one of the players Rodgers rests the most.
Whether Suso would be happy with that though is another matter. The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Agree with this 100% and Rodgers has shown that he feels the same.Originally posted by dom9 View PostAny player wanting guarantees to play regularly can bugger off as far as I am concerned.
If you're good enough, you'll play. It's pretty simple.
If Suso came in and started working his bollocks off in training and pulling up trees, he'd be playing. If he was not good enough, he won't.Last edited by baronvonskidmark; 12-06-14, 05:27 PM.
