Perhaps it was little bit too harsh but it was 2 footed challenge so I can see why the ref made that type of decision.

He didnt have a good game vs Real Betis up to that point as his teammates haven't even been looking for him at all, which perhaps added to his frustration and made him do that silly tackle.

I think he'll make it at LFC but next year won't be his break through- hopefully another good loan. This time in the Championship or Prem but only in the Prem if he'll get games which is difficult because the lower clubs will always want experience at centre back.

He looks okay. Not sure if I like the long balls much. Id prefer the midfield knock it long, then at least if it goes wrong you have at least a line of defence in a decent position to get back, although it may give us a quicker break that we lost when Pepe left.

But I guess there is a lot more to defending than long balls. Experience and positioning, which is why game time is really important. He does not have enough to warrant a start for us, but I would not want him getting splinters from our bench either (when was the last time subs sat on a wooden bench?)

Hmmm, not entirely sure this worked properly as I'm at work and the web filter blocks lots of social media stuff - but if that plays then it did.

It isn't the same as the usual media embedding as there isn't a vine definition for the plugin yet that I can find, however I've tried to add it as a BBcode instead. So basically use [vine][/vine ] tags, and only put the unique string in that comes after the usual url - so from a link such as https://vine.co/v/hinWutqTvYd you would put "hinWutqTvYd" in between the tags.

I know its a bit of a roundabout solution but hopefully it works at least...
