That same story has been doing the rounds for a while now.
Just odd that we allegedly blocked a summer move, added him to our squad allocation, but don’t seem to have any intention of playing him.
Be curious to see how he does there though. If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Has never really lived up to the huge potential that he once had. Technically very good but lets be honest we expected more from him when seeing him come through the youth ranks.

Never gets any games to realise that potential does he in all honesty.Originally posted by Mike View Post

How?Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

Always, keep your face to the sun, and shadows will fall behind you.

He had games last year at Almeria. If he had the ability to be good enough for us he'd have shown it. We would have had scouts and probably Rodgers watching his games, no doubt.Originally posted by Slinky Skills View PostNever gets any games to realise that potential does he in all honesty.

He did well at Almeira and I'm sure they'd love to have him back.Originally posted by Mike View PostHe had games last year at Almeria. If he had the ability to be good enough for us he'd have shown it. We would have had scouts and probably Rodgers watching his games, no doubt.
Also think he performed reasonably well for us in the few appearances he had and things might have been different if we were forced to play him more and he got a consecutive run of games, allowing him to develop.
Rodgers absolutely loves Allen, think he has 'wonderful ability' and is perfect for our set up, but yet he still struggles to get into the side. The fact that Suso can't force himself in isn't necessarily a reflection on his ability, but maybe more his suitability (for want of a better expression).
That being said, the signing of Alberto was definitely the death knell for Suso and he was never really gonna make it here after that, so it really is best for all parties that he moves on sooner, rather than later. Glad he’s possibly going to a decent club, so we’ll maybe still get to see a fair bit of him on TV.If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Haha, I'm not saying that he is or he isn't, but the fact that the club went and spunked £7m on Alberto when he is a very similar player to Suso indicated that they didn't really expect him to break through.Originally posted by Norbs View PostAnd **** me, if you're behind Alberto then you're really not going to make it
Signing Coutinho was the beginning of the end as it was always going to be hard to compete with him, but Alberto just confirmed it IMO.If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

He has shown glimpses of having something about him, but he hasn't shown it enough when given the chance.
As for Allen, I'd say he's probably in our strongest XI currently when fit.
Suso has the ability to be a good player, but in order for that to happen he needs game like you said; he's not going to get them here. A move would probably be best for everyone involved.
