watch him every time he receives the ball.

his head is always up looking for the pass. those types of head up players with his technical ability are wasted on the wings. play him centrally and play through him.

yep, he will do for our attacking midfield what allen is doing for our DM.

A good but slightly stop gap solution?

in five years time he will be running the midfield for real or barca, so we need to get our worth out of him while we can

He has no burst of pace and he is definitely not speedy.

In terms of his dribbling skills, vision and ball control he is tremendous potential but speed is not one of his attributes.

Liverpool midfielder Suso could have been turning out for Real Madrid instead of the Merseyside giants, had it not been for a phone call from former Reds boss Rafael Benitez.

Benitez brought the starlet to Anfield from Spanish side Cadiz in the summer of 2010, but the youngster’s ability was well known to Los Blancos, who almost won the race for his signature.

Indeed, Real Madrid had even prepared a contract for Suso, with the player on the verge of putting pen to paper and agreeing to continue his development at the Bernabeu.

Then though Champions League-winning manager Benitez picked up the phone.

"Yes, I had the whole issue of the contract, which was basically done with Real Madrid", Suso told Cope.

"But Rafa Benitez called me and he told me he had a lot of confidence in me and so I decided to go there."

And for Suso, who has begun to make an impact in Liverpool’s senior side under new boss Brendan Rodgers, there is no regrets over leaving his homeland to move to Anfield, despite the Reds’ mixed fortunes since his arrival.

"I love this club and for me this is the place", said the 18-year-old.

"For now, the truth is that I have never thought about going, because I feel comfortable here. I have no intention of leaving."

Suso made his senior debut for Liverpool earlier this season, playing in the club’s Europa League clash against Young Boys.

He quickly followed that up with his Premier League bow at the weekend, in Liverpool’s 2-1 loss to Manchester United.

It's got to be priority one for me. I hope the club are sorting it out now cause he'd be free to talk to clubs at Xmas no?

with a front three it should be the inside forwards option. you can move the play wide if you need to, but only having three up front you would be better condensing the play to within the width of the goal area so your front three can actually get in to scoring positions.
if they play too wide and the ball gets in to the box then the lone striker is too isolated and out muscled by the defenders.

I'm trying not to get carried away but he really does look the real deal. So exciting.

                              A real prospect.

More excited about Suso than Sterling tbh, and that says something.
