I have OCD and its ****ing mental. mine only relates to locking doors and windows though but its ridiculous. I even had to create a 'ceiling' called the rule of 4 to make sure I wasnt stood there for ten mins making sure the front door was shut.

    absolutely mad.

I just don't buy into this OCD bull****. Where's it come from? I never heard it mentioned until a few years ago. It seems like a fad to me, just like every other person is dylexsic these days. Anyway on a serious note it does sound like a pain in the backside, having to check things all the time. I think I'd jump from a bridge personally.

I think that if you jump from a bridge then it would be very difficult to do it again because you would then be dead. That means that jumping from a bridge can't be called OCD.

You will need to find something else to do

its so wierd because even though you have just shut the door and have locked it something doesnt register and you believe against all logic that the door isnt locked. then checking its shut becomes a compulsion that you keep repeating it over and over again. meanwhile it still doesnt register that its shut.

seriously its come on over the last four or five years and was probably triggered by an attempted theft of my car by a group of specialist thieves.

every night and every morning its the same farce until I set a limit on how many times I could check each door hence the rule of four. ie after having checked it four times it has to be shut.

I heard becks has a similar problem with pepsi cans and gerrard washes his hands twenty times a day. must be a may birth thing.

Yeah it could be due to being born in May. But Gerrard and Beckham are pretty thick so it could be that too.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

I was born in may, it doesn't affect me. Although I used have to wank twice before leaving the house, but then I'd get down the road and have to check the locks, cue another couple of wank before leaving the house. Nightmare.

                        Pepe on Riise

“The TNS game was the first time I had played alongside John Arne Riise—and I ended up punching him! He was a really good team-mate and I didn’t mean it, of course. A cross came into the box and I punched the ball away, but I caught Riise as well and knocked him down.

As he was getting up off the floor he started laughing and said to me: “****ing hell, what have you just done to me?” I said: “Listen, I shouted ‘keeper, keeper’ and when you hear that you have to move otherwise I hit your head.” It was an important moment because it showed the way I was intending to go about things".
