lack of competition does not help either.

He made a great reaction save yesterday, and for the goal the forward was favourite to score in that position. Reina did seem to be positioned further over to one side of the goal, but the forward has always got the advantage in that one-on-one situation.Originally posted by The Birdman View PostReina used to make saves that won or saved us games. Now he lets in shots he should save that cost's us games.
I'd love for him to stay here for the rest of his career but he needs to sharpen up, we're addressing that though with the keeper coach going.

It's the coaching IMO, the guy we had most of the time Rafa was here was great but other than that our goalkeeping coaches going back years have been poor. I remember we had Joe Corrigan for a while and he screwed up quite a few keepers.Originally posted by Mello View PostHe's more than earned our patience, but I agree with those that say he hasn't been the same since Rafa was sacked. How much of that is tactics, or training, or Pepe himself, I don't know. The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

nah just that he gets preferential treatment along with gerrard and suarez, where as carroll or summat have one quiet game and get jumped onOriginally posted by Craig_H View PostI never understand posts like this. Not sure what your point is mate.
Do you want us to rip Pepe to pieces? Is that what you're saying?

It does tend to be the case, doesn't it, just before you leave a work place, doesn't it? Can't be arsed attitude.Originally posted by NigelLG View PostIf his form is dipping then he'll leave. He's still very young.
However, I think he'll wait and see what happens (early) in the summer and maybe go from there. It's all conjecture. But Valero + Rafa definitely made him the best he was, it's weird. Goes for all over the pitch really, one cog in the wheel doesn't seem well oiled and suddenly the 99% become 80%.
