. Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
I haven't seen anything concrete to say he is going back. I read the Sunday Times and it said something at the tail end of an unrelated article along the lines of "Meanwhile, Pepe Reina is preparing for a return to Barcelona." That's it. No quotes. Some people seem convinced he's off. Have I missed something? I am not too worried yet.
Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina has insisted that he is happy at the club, as Atletico Madrid join the hunt for the man, according to the Daily Express.
The Spaniard has been linked with a move to La Liga giants Barcelona for some time, with the club’s current No.1 Victor Valdes believed to be set on leaving the club this summer.
Along with the Catalan club’s interest, it is now rumoured that Atletico are expressing an interest with their current first-choice goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois likely to head back to parent club Chelsea.
Reports
Despite reports in his homeland stating his desire to return to Spain, Reina has different ideas and is not thinking of a departure anytime soon.
Reina told Spanish radio station Cadena Ser. “I have three more years with Liverpool, I’m satisfied, comfortable and my family are very happy. Rumours are difficult to control but it’s flattering when a club like Barca are interested in you.
“I don’t know if there has been contact between the clubs or with my agent. At the moment I don’t think there’s anything serious.
“I don’t know how long I’ve got left in football, what I do know is I want to enjoy what remains and feel appreciated and at Liverpool I have that.”
