Quite right, it was a bog standard control and pass 5 ****ing yards, 'exquisite' should be replaced with simple, or basic as you've said

they have been really shown up last night to be honest.

3-0 up to a not particularly good Bayern team and they manage to **** it up.

Quite embarassing really as far as they are concerned. 3-0 up after 44 mins and they manage to throw it.

A **** up of the highest order, this must be the worse 2 weeks in there history for a long long time!!!

Great game last night - really enjoyed it.

Just goes to show what faith Fergie has in Berbatov that he preferred to play Nani upfront when United went down to 10 and Rooney got subbed. Nice £30m down the drain there.

Yep. Hilarious isn't. Yet no-one says anything. Can you imagine if Rafa did the same thing? It'd be front page news FFS.

Well nobody in their right mind would put a lazy cunt like Berbatov on when your team is down to 10 men if they could help it. He's not going to put a shift in and tackle back etc. Nobody in their right mind would sanction the purchase of lazy cunt Berbatov for over 30million quid.

                    a luxury buy.

The thing is he had a perfect replacement for Rooney when he was Injured in Tevez, works hard and scores goals. ....Teplacing Berbatov with Tevez = pure lunacy

They've got that cunt Lou Macari on crying about Bayern players surrounding the ref. "Something has got to be done about this"

As for the slanderous bull**** about the Bayern players going after Rooney's ankle - there was ONE challenge from van Buyten. One challenge, and even that was shin high and nowhere near his ankle.

I could listen to the excuses all day. Hilarious.
If his ankle's that bad then he shouldn't have been on the field, surely?

Slur got it wrong to play him, he should've been rested

I thought Ferguson said in a press conference that Rooney wasn't going to play.

When Hoddle deliberately misled footie journos over his team selection they were furious.

When Ferguson does it they just roll over and beg him to tickle their tummies.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

I was sub-contracting on site and said to the 3 other guys that we should have a minute's laughter at the top of our ladders in honour of Bayern. One of the other guys stropped off. How the **** was I supposed to know he was a manc...

                              Great point about Hoddle.

Did you hear them on ITV last night? They were actually calling it a masterstroke.

Really? Unbelievable. Sadly I was working last night so missed the fun.

I heard some gormless dullard from Sale ring up 5Live to complain about the pundits questioning Ferguson's tactics. Mark Lawrenson was quite good when the bloke defended Ferguson's racist comments but also said they had explicitly not questioned his tactics. Why not? That's his job, isn't it?

Ferguson has made major tactical f*ck-ups in each of the last three games, starting with replacing a midfielder (OK it was Carrick but still) with Berbatov in the first leg. If they don't win the title his appalling tactics have cost them two major trophies.

                                .
