Oh god i'm loving all this....toooo much really..but wtf....we've had to take it all season...and it's just soooooo goooooooooood to see them get a bit back, and know they won't be champions of europe this season.

What struck me towards the end was the total lack of noise. Everybody just stood there, nobody trying to support the team. There was a shot of the crowd where a guy tried to get people signing, everybody just looked at him like he was an idiot (which he was by just by being there).
I know they had thrown away a two goal lead and had a player sent off, but that is when the team needs the fans to really back them.

what stuck me, and i was suprised by because it shows exactly what the fans think, and surely it would transfer itself to the players and make them start doubting themselves......was when rooney went over on his ankle early on despite being 2-0 up, they were not just chanting "rooney rooney rooney" - they were practically ****ing begging him too stay on the pitch.....you could clearly see that he was struggling and wanted out of there but didn't want to let them down - it smacked me of desperation and I really do think that once the realisation settled in both the players and the crowd that rooney was ****ed United buckled and Bayern rose like a pheonix from the ashes

It's definitely a beautiful thing. Dropped my lad off at nursery this morning and plenty of the other parents are Mancs. I bounced in there gleefully..."MORNING EVERYONE!" ....they're glum as ****. I didn't need to say anything. I took Freddie in in his LFC home shirt.

Tried to find some of them on the way into work this morning to congratulate them, but the only one openly wearing a Bayern scarf was at the other end of the station. Going over to him wouldve just been wierd (altho completely justifiable).

We have been without torres for most of the season and struggled through.....it's been dire but United lose rooney for 2 games!! and their whole season collapses hahahahahaha
