OG off some defenders ass knowing their luck. They managed 4 against Bolton without Rooney - I know Chelsea are a better team but how many times have "weakened" Utd teams pulled out a result?

Is this prognosis official? Only SSN seem to be running with it, no official word yet it seems.
Nothing on the Utd website, bloke from the physioroom.com saying he thinks that it could be 4 weeks at the earliest due to the crutches and boot he was wearing when he left the stadium.

Even if it's just 2 weeks, he'll miss:

        3rd April
        Chelsea (h)

        7th April
        Bayern Munchen (h)

        11th April
        Blackburn (a)

And he'd do well to be ready for:

        17th April
        Man City (a)

And that's the best case scenario for the mancs. If that happens, he should be back for Spurs at Old Trafford on 24th April.

If it's 4 weeks, he'd obviously miss the Spurs game, as well as possibly Sunderland away on 1st May.

Part of me wants him fit for the mancs derby match and game against Spurs, though.

Just had a look at some Manc reactions. **** me they're not half aware they're a one-man team

I am afraid that is an unmitigated disaster for us.
If your day has been as **** as mine so far, the last thing you’ll probably want to hear is that Wayne Rooney could be missing for as long as a month.
              Wooooooooooooo a month!

This is an absolute disaster, I can't believe it. Our season is ****ed, SO unlucky. Can our luck get any worse FFS? Sick of all this bad luck.

Ha ha was just thinking the exact same, what the hell is that guy on aboot the clown.

Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

It looked nasty, hope he's out for a month. Will wait for another hour or so to hear the official news before I celebrate though

Two weeks is nice enough. They'll find it very difficult on Saturday without him and Bayern could well put them out. If he misses City away, I fancy them to drop points there too.

They'll beat Blackburn, Spurs and Sunderland even if they field the reserves so his injury won't matter in those games.

hahaha this is excellent news. Trying not to get too excited til the BBC run with it but no doubt they'll be consulting 7 independent doctors before committing to print.
