Come on you Daggers. Never thought I'd see them out of the Conference, let alone fighting to get into League One!

The thought of Morecambe in League One makes me feel sick.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I know that strictly speaking this is off topic but I'm heading to see York vs Oxford in the conference play offs today. Should be a good game by all accounts York have played some decent stuff this season and overcame Luton in the semis.

                    Anyone but Oxford, eh?
                    .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

A couple of people I worked with in York are coming down. Currently me record for conference related games at Wembley is 0 from 3 for the team I was supporting. So the omens are good for Oxford

LMAO! 6-0 FFS. Morecambe got in there on merit but they were dire for such a long time before going on a great run. Still annoying to see such a **** side in there when my 2nd team missed out by throwing it away after a dreadful run at the end having been 3rd/4th for so long. FFS.

Well I kept my 100% record for defeats. It was the best conference game I've seen at Wembley though. Comically dreadful first 20 minutes by both sides that somehow York contrived to emerge from 2-0 down. Oxford keeper threw the ball into his own net to give York a chance before half time.

York by far the better team in the second half but couldn't score. Courtney Pitt (who has played on the losing side in the three play off finals I have been to) put in a piss poor corner from which Oxford broke and scored. Very disappointing.
