John Terry is a ****ing idiot! Seems to me Terry has a pretty good idea what the media have been making of the situation and pulled this stunt to distance himself from Capello and everything he's perceived to be doing wrong. So that when England crash and burn, and there's a change of manager, that he'll be who everyone wants as Captain again. It's disgusting, and it'll probably work

terry is a **** for what he did but also if what he said is correct and what Capello said is correct it shows how spineless these big time footballers are.

You will have seen it at work people moaning but when they get the chance to air views and come up with a solution they say nothing and agree with the boss.

Capello is a truley world class manager i dont get that the knowing two hours before is a valid excuse for playing badly they did that all through qualifying and it wasnt a problem

i still think they have been hyped too much as usual and and this has put pressure on them. They need to think what they can do on the pitch to make it better. Regardless of system etc they should have had enough to beat an Algeria team.

England boss Fabio Capello has astonishingly hit back at his former captain John Terry after the Chelsea man called for Joe Cole to be picked in a press conference.

Terry also used his audience with the press on Sunday morning to say that players had issues with Capello's management that would be addressed in a team meeting that evening.

But the Italian disciplinarian has said Terry's decision to go public with his concerns was a "big mistake".

Capello believes Terry has been disrespectful to other players in the England squad by calling for Joe Cole to be picked. He says he can't understand why Terry did not speak to him directly.

And he reveals that at the team meeting, he merely played a tape of the first half of the Algeria game. He says he did not speak to individual players about mistakes, but merely watching their performance should have been enough for the players.

Seen some of the Capello response, all I can say is that I believe he would drop Terry if at all possible. And he should too for the disrepected the **** has shown to his team mates. I'd imagine he won't have the option to drop Terry though.

Carragher's suspension has come at a bad time, with him out dropping Terry would mean Upson and an uncapped Dawson playing as centre back pair in a crucial game, that would be one hell of a gamble.
