Group C (England, Algeria, Slovenia, USA! USA! USA!)
. Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
The German commentators aren't holding back. Just said England are absolute **** and that should come as no surprise cos they were **** in all the last world cups

Can't remember the last time England genuinely got me excited. Prob vs argentina when Campbell made that surging run from the half way line and nearly scored the winner, Same game that Lord Beckham got sent off in..
I think that is better than the usual 2-0 opening win. A result like this creates a fight or a motivating factor. Italy only won half of the games in 2006 when they won it. In comparison, Argentina always win 6-0 the first few games but always lose later on.
Well, we always make a slow start in tournaments. We usually drop points against the bottom of the group, so a draw against USA isn't that much of an obstacle for us.
We should have took it but so still bloody disappointing. However grand scheme of things we'll be good.
