The latter. I knew it anyway but it really struck me watching the USA game last week. Pissed up at a wedding...I wanted them to win but felt very little. I feel much more watching us in a Carling Cup game. I said at the time...I want them to win but if they lost 8-1 I wouldn't lose a wink of sleep.

GOt to say, the tactical genius has been done over twice in 2 games now. 2 strikers marked by 3CBs. 3 attacking players against 5 defensive players. A bank of 5 across the middle when ENgland have it against england's midfield 4. It's amateurish stuff.

Lennon is keen and is the right 'kind' of player, he just lacks the quality. Too predictable too often. Tries the ball he thought of 2 seconds ago despite a defender having moved to cover it.
