Christ how badly may England rue not getting another? They basically had a gift to the semi finals (though football obviously isnt that simple) but now face the half of death if Germany hold on.

Doubt that would actually be the route, bound to be more upsets. (other than England)Originally posted by Craig_H View PostAye. Germany in the 2nd round, Argentina in the quarters, Spain in the semis and Brazil in the final
If they ****ing win it via that run, even i'll stand up and credit them

England should've won 3 or 4-0. And Johnson's booking was one of the most ludicrous decisions of the tournament
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

What did the ref do wrong?
England outclassed you throughout mate, your mistake was not seeing out the game against USA when you were 2-0 up.

But England have to be here with the ambition of winning it, and as such it does not matter who you play from here on in.Originally posted by Craig_H View PostAye. If England can not beat Germany or Argentina, what does it matter. because if they can't beat those teams it doesn't matter what side of the draw you are on, you're not going to win the competition.
Imagine the momentum England would get from beating potentially the contries biggest rivals, Germany and then Argentina. Beat those two and I'd fancy them to head into the Spain game actually thinking they can win it.
No disrespect to Ghana and Uruguay, but beating those two would hardly give England the belief that they could beat Brazil in the semis and then Spain in the final.
And if England were to win the world cup by beating Germany, Argentina, Spain and then Brazil...................... WOWForwards.......

Of course it matters Danny, the harder your run, the less likely you are to win it.
So if England do indeed have ambitions to win it, an easier run makes this more likely.
England CAN beat Germany and Argentina, they can beat anyone. But the more of those top sides you face, the less likely that you're going to overcome them all.
