I'm trying Radio 5 now, they've still got the ****ers, but fairly quiet.

Trouble is, it's out of sync. Is it therefore possible that us missing the goal yesterday was the result of a Scottish prankster - I mean, what are the odds of a goal going in while the picture had gone for 30 to 45 seconds?

That's Alan Green for you though. I wish someone would ban his moaning.

Supposedly. It's not just Liverpool he moans about although he does do that loads and it is annoying (even if it's justifiable). When I put on the radio I want to hear something entertaining and informative, not some middle aged bloke moaning about football, Life and everything.

If I did want to hear all that I could just listen to myself talking.
          .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

If you want to hear it, just try the "Then there were 2" thread. I'm getting suicidal in there.

I must be in a minority here, but I actually like the sound of the vuvuzela. It kind of makes me feel like going to sleep though.

i quite enjoyed hearing them drown out the ****ing ****ey brass band playing rule britannia and great escape over and over and over and over and over and over during the england game.

I prefer the noise from the vuvuzela's over listening to the commentators. Its a good atmosphere. I can imagine them annoying the players and commentators though

I emailed the BBC about a month ago suggesting they offered a no crowd noise option on the red button, like Sky do.
In normal circumstances, a no commentator option would be more preferable.
                                Oh I don't know.
