Been practicing your Aussie slang cobbah.

We're talking the real game mate not that AFL crap or rugby league.

I HATE AFL so much. They are trying to hi-jack our bid for the 2022 world cup by not offering us a 70,000 seater stadium they use for AFL. Its obvious the *******s are only doing it because Football is beginning to take market share from all the other codes. Selfish cunts.

It will be interesting to see how many fans Melbourne Heart get this year. 2 teams in Melbourne plus a league side and how many AFL sides? Only 2 days till they kick off the season on Thursday night

I'm an Aussie who is huge on european football but haven't gotten into the A-League as i've been living overseas the last 5 years (the time where the A-League has actually got decent). Don't know whether i'll support Heart or Victory when i move back home.

Big AFL fan though!!! Carn the Blues

Follow the Heart, because as SB alluded to it will be difficult for them to get a good fan base together, and the last thing any football fan in Australia wants is a team to fail which will seriously damage the competitions reputation and put our world cup bid at risk.

There's a bit of experience with Aloisi, Skoko, Colosimo and Bolton so it will be interesting to see how they gel. A hard task for a new club though

Yeah. They have definetely signed some very good players. I like Sarkies as a player, if they can get him to perform he can be a good player for them. Colosimo was an absolute rock at the back for us last year and im dissapointed he has left us. He brings the ball out of defence very well and can also play in a holding midfield role. I'm not so sure about Aloisi he could definetely flop like at Sydney.

Yeah Sarkies was at Adelaide and did quite well there.

Aloisi has had his time but you never know. He may go OK without the pressure he was under at Sydney.
