Finally a bloody win. We did the job on Perth at Perth which isn't an easy task. Not the greatest of games but 3 points in the bag and we should have won by more. Djite did OK for his 1st start and will be better for the outing. Now for the Pool to beat the brum and were talking a great weekend

Is the correct answer We could have/ should have won by more . Culina had a couple of good chances to extend the lead. I was pleased Bruce Djite lasted as long as he did.82 mins for his 1st start of the season was good.

Yeah, I always thought Culina was a lot better in the advanced positions. I won't lie, Bleiberg was very smart in putting him on the right wing of a 4-3-3. I think we should have played him on the right of the 4-2-3-1 in the world cup with valeri in the middle.

Yeah letting him play up front works better also for Zenon Caravella. Zenon is a very crafty type of player and when jason is deeper it stifles Zenon's play. We've got two home games in 10 days. Central Coast and Newcastle = a minimum 4 points IMO

Yeah, in our next few games if we get 1 point I will be happy. I don't know whats going on, I think Karol Kisel was more important to the team then a lot of people noticed, also Colosimo going was a massive loss, he added so much to our midfield out of defence. If we make it out of the group stage in Asia I will be very happy.

That might be an welcome distraction or an unwelcome one ? Time will tell

Yeah they did as our squads aren't big enough to play on 2 fronts IMO.

The clubs may do alright from a good run in the ACL but the salary cap restricts the clubs from going on a spending spree so what's the big advantage in being in it really? It showcases the best players in the A League and then bigger clubs can come along and pinch them for peanuts. So I'm not sure if it's a distraction that everyone wants TBH.

Clive Palmer was hoping on us qualifying so he could get more exposure for his mining company throughout Asia but we failed last year.

Yeah thats true, happened with Carney for us in the first season we were in it as well as Dwite Yorke being taken by Sunderland. Our squads are definetely too thin for it, but the money can help so that the clubs can be better self-funded not relying on Palmer or our Russian dude.
