    Spot on.

I did laugh though, at the fact that these financial losses were announced today and the media instantly jumped on the story, with an 'arent the Glazers actions ****ty?' angle - whilst we've been fighting off Hicks & Gillett for 3 years, yet it's taken us to get on tge brink of administration for the media to finally publicise how much damage they've done.

You should've been at Old Trafford the other week mate. As i said at the time, i was sat right between the 'divide' between sets of supporters - with all the usual ****e being shouted from both directions - and then one of their mob actually tried to start a mocking 'USA USA' chant towards us.

Our mob pissed themselves laughing at the idiot, while their fans, to a man, looked embarrassed to be associated with him.

Yeah, right hand side as we were looking (facing the pitch), i was slightly left of centre, behind the goal - back row. 3 seats from the stewards in the fans divide.

Some right knobheads come full time and throughout the game to think of it. My favourite was an 18 year old girl offering to knock us all out on her own.

Manchester United have announced an annual pre-tax loss roughly equivalent to one over-priced Portugeuse prima-dona after the club realised it can’t sell Cristiano Ronaldo every single year.

The £79.6 loss for the 12 months to 30 June compares with a profit of £48m for the year before, when revenues were boosted by the £80m sale of Cristiano Ronaldo to mentally unstable Spaniard, Real Madrid.

A club spokesperson said, “This club is committed to selling Cristiano Ronaldo every year, and tough the last 12 months have proven a difficult operating period due to us not having a Cristiano Ronaldo to sell, we expect to be back selling Cristiano Ronaldo by 2011.”

“Our long-term strategy is to sell Cristiano Ronaldo until this club is once again on a sound financial footing. Whenever that might be.”

David Conn - Guardian writer mentioned elsewhere on here and who wrote a book about finance and football clubs etc - was on the Eamonn Dunphy show on Newstalk today talking about how monumentally ****ed Utd are. Both himself and Dunphy made the same point about Alex Ferguson's role in all this - and it contrasts very pointedly with what Rafa did for us - namely how disgracefully silent the homelessesque cunt has been about Utd's financial woes. Neither could understand how a man of Ferguson's influence and success-rate seems to be so silently anxious to appease the owners and essentially ignore scum-fans by - at best - lying by omission about their situation.

Conn also thought that Martin Broughton has done a magnificently aggressive job in attempting to get the poison out of Liverpool and how it couldn't have been done better so far.

As much as this makes me laugh i think we all need to look at the bigger picture here. I think the league needs to put something into place to protect its club members from such financial ruin. Something has to be done to prevent these predators buying our clubs and putting purchase debt onto it.

Slowly month by month clubs are going into Administration yet **** all seems to be getting done about it at the FA or premier league.

We cannot continue to allow these ****ers from coming in transferring the purchase debt onto the club then taking the clubs profits for their own means. Surely they can make it illegal in the sport for someone to take control of a club through a leveraged buyout?
