I bet he can't tap his head repeatedly at the same time.

I'd volunteer to smack his head repeatedly while he rubs his tummy

Aye, always said he was overrated.

Take away his goals and skills and he's nothing!

Cristiano Ronaldo has had a hand in 18 goals in his last eight games (12 goals, six assists, all competitions).

Jonathan Northcroft has claimed that he was asked by a representative of Gareth Bale not to mention his world record fee in a piece he was writing about the attacker – because it would annoy Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Sunday Times journalist told the extraordinary tale on BBC Radio 5 Live to the disbelief of everyone else in the studio. The revelation was made after Rafa Benitez was sacked by Real Madrid.

Madrid appointed Zinedine Zidane as his successor and if you believe certain reports, Bale wasn’t pleased with this change as he had a good working relationship with the Spaniard. Ronaldo didn’t.

Many suspect that this was partly due to the fact that Benitez appeared to pander more to Bale than Ronaldo, the three-time Ballon d’Or winner felt threatened by the Welshman’s arrival in 2013.

This would somewhat explain why Madrid try to massage his ego by almost hiding the fact that Bale cost £85 million, eclipsing his £80 million transfer from Manchester United in 2009.

They could have considered inflation and exchange rates to calm him down...
