Football should be hard thankless work for the fans. Clinical defensive units cancelling each other out with 1 in every three games decided by a single penalty should be enough for anyone.
Felching ≠ Gerbilling

LOL, yep, much prefer 10 men behind the ball football matches and 0-0 draws, instead of chances and goals galore.Originally posted by badpiggy View Post

It's what the beautiful game is all about.

Maybe different people find enjoyment from football in different ways? I.E. most people found the recent Manc derby an utter bore-fest, whilst most would say that the recent North London derby was pretty exciting.
There is enjoyment to be had from many facets of the game, but just because someone enjoys seeing lots of goals doesn't mean they're a fan-boi. Likewise just because someone enjoys watching tight defensive games it doesn't make them a bore
Personally, when Liverpool are involved I like a tight defense and for us to score lots of goals
If I'm watching a game from a neutral point of view, I tend to find it more exciting if there are a lot of goals (as long as they aren't all from the same side).

I can only admire the fact that you admire good defending. Can you send me your leaflet detailing how to admire football properly cos I'm caught in this horrible cycle - I suspect kidnapping and brainwashing by a sinister media corporation - where I can merely notice good defending? Not for me the adrenaline rush of seeing a good defensive midfielder close down space, the spiritual uplift of seeing a quality CB majestically outleap an opponent and head the ball over the sideline for a throw-in... I'm hooked on the cheap and nasty highs of last minute winners, comebacks from 2-0 down and goal of the month. HEEEELLPPP!!!!Originally posted by Craig_H View PostUtter twaddle. ****ing pussies.
Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

Always, keep your face to the sun, and shadows will fall behind you.
