Well, those voters clearly wanted England out at the earliest opportunity. They were votes not for holland, but against England.

The simple solution in this case, would've been for 3 out of the 4 who voted for Holland/Belgium, to just have voted russia from the outset, and it's job done.

I don't think England have a divine right to win the World Cup.

I'm extremely disappointed that we didn't get it.

I think our bid was definitely up there, and thought we'd be battling it out with Russia and Spain/Portugal.

The reason we ended up with just 2 votes is not because we had the worst bid (we didn't), and its not because FIFA wanted to give it to a country who hasn't hosted it before.
