In the last two seasons for their respective clubs....

Messi: 74 games 72 goals and 26 assists.

Ronaldo: 57 games, 54 goals and 14 assists.

Just abso****inglutely unreal.

TBH I am not a big fan of Messi, Ronaldo may be a total ****** but he is exciting to watch due to his unpredictability at times. Also, I think Ronaldo as the ability to carry a team where I don't think Messi can.

I dont know how anyone can love football and not love Messi.

Re the 'carrying a team' thing, Messi plays for the best team on the planet, and doesnt really need to carry them, due to the brilliant team mates he has.

Ronaldo of course, played for that ****e Manc side, for whom he single handedly won the league

Messi COULD carry a team, if necessary. He does sometimes win games single-handedly for Barca.

Can't agree with that mate sorry pal.

Messi set up two of the goals for Barca when they smashed Madrid last week, his goals and finishes are also of a different class to Ronaldo. Although Barca are a team of exceptional individuals he is the one that carries them more than anyone.

Messi is an unbelievable talent, a one off that we will not see again for a long time. Ronaldo is a cheat but he is also an fantastic talent so there is no need for him to cheat. These guys are rare breeds that we should count ourselves fortunate to be lucky enough to have seen them play, just wish Ronaldo would cut the cheating out of his play as that is what he will be remembered for more than anything.
