This list is not a good cv, in fact it is not even an average cv. He has blagged his way through with his incessant verbal diarhea

    1971–1972 Maidstone United Assistant Coach
    1976 Carshalton Athletic
    1976–1980 Halmstad
    1980–1982 Bristol City

    1995–1997 Internazionale
    1997–1998 Blackburn Rovers
    1999 Internazionale
    1999–2000 Grasshopper
    2000–2001 FC Copenhagen
    2001 Udinese
    2002–2004 United Arab Emirates
    2004–2005 Viking
    2006–2007 Finland
    2007–2010 Fulham
    2010–2011 Liverpool
His first season at Blackburn was pretty good. Inter were not an easy team to manage when he was there. He did good jobs at most of the places there on that list.

It really depends on what you mean by average. He's done very different things to most English managers and has probably won more things than most of the current crop.

I think accusing him of being a poor manager is equally as revisionist as the job bigging him up done by the media before he came to us.

You are actually bigging him up yourself. He has singled handedly destroyed our season

"He's done a lot of different things" If you forget the first couple of jobs, he has worked with 4 english teams. Why would this be? IMO he has peddled an out of date style and system in countires were he knew his limited ability would earn him a crust. He is clever, he is no fool. However, he doesnt have the footballing knowledge or skills to be any more than an average manager

I'm delighted he's gone, but every piece of footage i see of him wearing a Liverpool suit, makes me cringe. The whole tenure will be remembered with embarrassment and shame. Likewise, with all this 'respect to roy', 'he is a nice guy' 'good luck to him' stuff. Balls to that. He was a cunt, he came out with some sheer cuntery and has his head so far up his arse. He can **** off, as far as i'm concerned.

Maybe a year down the line, my view may soften but right now, i still hate the twunt.

His winning percentage for all three clubs in England all equals to 35%, in a bizarre co-incidence. He is a small club manager.

Even in his 'exit statement', he still had to have a little bit of blame shifting and a dig at not having been able to bring in his own players When he was given the chance to do that, he bought PFK and Poulsen

There's no way Hodgson signed Meireles.

To be fair he did sign the odd decent player for fulham to.......even the odd one that would improve our side now, just not PFK

I hated him being our manager, now he's gone I don't care what he does. If he had a reputation before he joined us then it's well and truly tarnished now. Small minded man, a gob****e with no tactical nous whatsoever.

He did a boss job with Bobby Zamora.

His time managing us will be one of the lowest periods in our history.

Thought he was okay when he came in. I didn't want Rafa gone but was open to Hodgson as I thought he did a good job with Fulham.

However it soon became clear how bad he sets his teams up, how bad his tactics are, how rude, arrogant and self-centred he is, and how he completely misunderstands the fans, the players and the club. Happy to shift the blame and also have a go at our players via the press. Utterly **** signings. I'm absolutely delighted that he's gone as it sickened me to hear him or seeing him in our tracksuit in the end.

I don't like him for the fact that he mugged us all off.

All that was a sign of a man hopelessly out of his depth and being found out for just how limited he is.
