Gutted for him. I think he is one of those players that will always struggle with injury. Rob Jones was a much better player and he was one of the unlucky ones. Mind you it could just be karma for his dreadful dress sense. Ugg boots for men is always wrong. Good luck Kelly.

But I feel for Kelly. It seems like everytime he looks like cementing his place in the side he gets crocked. It must be playing hell with his development as a player too.A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.

now that enrique is out, he would have been a very good option at right back for us. Wisdom is good but he's still pretty raw.Originally posted by BootRoom View PostHe's barely been missed.[B]Sir Isaac Newton knew the universal law of karma - any action has its equal and opposite reaction.[B]

Enrique has been struggling for a while with injury/lack of form since Kelly has been out, and in the main Wisdom has provided more than adequate cover when we've moved Johnson. Even Henderson can do a job there. There is a big gap in quality between Johnson and the rest of the potential right-backs, and Kelly doesn't stand out from the rest as somebody that is vital to the team.Originally posted by el matador View Postnow that enrique is out, he would have been a very good option at right back for us. I haven't noticed Wisdom much which is probably a good thing for a defender. It's hard to judge from watching on telly though..
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

He got ripped vs. the Bitters (first half) which led to poorer form than up to that point, and he did need a break (in my opinion) from the first team - which he's had - and looked all the better for it vs. Sunderland.Originally posted by Neil Young View PostI haven't noticed Wisdom much which is probably a good thing for a defender. All I really remember about that game was our disallowed winner but I'm sure you're right. He looked good against Sunderland but then so did everyone.
Kelly got dominated by Everton too - second half I think - which also was costly.
