    It'll be Poyet.

It's virtually April, sacking any manager is madness. Even an outrageously overrated manager.

Yeah I tend to agree. It's the right call though, just at totally the wrong time.

          About 4 months late.

Their run in is not brilliant got Chelsea Newcastle and Spurs away Villa Stoke and Southampton at home.

wow, very surprised at this. I mean losing to United is no real shock is it and being so close to the end of the season

If they were going to bin him it should have been in December or at the latest January.

Di Canio favourite then Di Matteo, Poyet, Hughes and Curbishley

Did say earlier today that i'd be surprised if he was still in charge of Sunderland next season. Didn't quite expect him to go so soon.

                    Not the worst of decisions.

Fair to say that we've probably seen the last of him as a top flight manager in England.

What about Phil Brown, is he looking for a job?

Could you imagine if they sacked O'Neill to get in Mark Hughes

                                O'Neill was over-rated anyway.

Sunderland are in a relegation scrap and are on an awful run of form at the moment they need to appoint someone who can keep them up, with the position they are in I don't think they can go with a caretaker
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
