Great. A ****ing shoe-in for punditry on the BBC. Cue Martin's attention seeking controversial and "hilariously outspoken" commentary.

O'Neill is over-rated I've never got what all the hype was about.

I think it's too early for Di Canio, may well flop.
The times they are a changin'.

new manager new ideas etc = 2/3 wins + a few draws and the odd loss or two = prem status

            Bring back old monkey's heed

Oh my word, di Canio? He'll be disastrous. Going down.

They have a difficult run of fixtures whoever is in charge

Massive risk changing him now really, they have 7 games with no window to bring someone in, it's going to take time to get these "ideas" across.

Should have binned him at Xmas and given the new guy a transfer window and time to get things changed

well it's more a if we don't do nothing do we watch the club get relegated or do we do something and say we tried albeit too late ...just need a couple of wins and draws

No mark manager sacked by no mark club.

I can just about muster a meh.
                    Oh I don't know.

I guess all Sunderland need is to have "new manager syndrome" for a few games, a couple of wins would probably be enough to keep them up. But as I say they have a difficult run of fixtures.

As I said they should have done it earlier, I think they'll be ok tbh anyway

I really really hope Newcastle go down - it would be hilarious. Newcastle fans are just the worst.

It's one thing too get sacked but to be replaced by Di Canio would be taking the piss. The guy is a gimp

Make up your mind, Peppermint, do you support Sunderland or not?

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.
