Maybe I've missed it but from what I've heard he's reiterated his rejection of racism but said nothing overt to deny the quote about being a fascist. Meanwhile Sunderland have explicitly linked fascism and racism and have implied he's neither. Which is it?

And until he rejects it I don't see why he should be described as 'fascist' when, from words attributed to him and from his actions, he's actually a fascist.

Of course I'd agree the media aren't exactly known for their consistency and I'd have liked them to have made more of it before but I don't have a problem with them talking it up now.

I will be disappointed when the issue is dropped in a couple of days because David Beckham has said something or Alan Curbishley has been "linked" to the Leeds job or whatever but none of us will be surprised as that's the goldfish nature of the media world.

Nope, there's no typo there but I could probably have been clearer.

Writing 'fascist', as the tweeter you quoted did, implies someone has alleged he is a fascist whereas, as I said, he has had lots of chances to deny it but as far as I've seen never has.
