    Jose Mourinho

This summer, it's feasible that Jose will throw his toys out of the pram and blame working differences - realistically, he may have just seen first hand that Real Madrid won't be catching up with Barcelona anytime soon and doesn't want a *blip* on his CV.

Keeping up with tradition, he will want to move to a club with a sufficient transfer budget, high profile and a job that's semi-completre and just needs someone to motivate them to glory.

Is Liverpool football club that job?

Kenny creates the stability and turns the clubs fortunes around for the better and leaves after his six months tenure. NESV have now implemented their business model on the club and Comolli has players lined up for the next manager to take the credit. A sleeping giant is ready to rise up again ...
Jose takes over the job and takes the plaudits ...

He gets credited with being the manager that turned around a famous club, thus stroking his own ego and furthering his impecable CV.

Or he could just replace Ferguson at Man Utd.

He could, I don't see why not except for one thing and that is whether he could work with Comolli...

Mourinho has already said he'd never come here. He'll end up at mancland (either City or United)

I personaly do think that if Mourinho was offered the LFC job,he would take it in an instance.

Although he will probably never admit it unless he becomes the boss, that he was truly blown away when his Chelsea played at Anfield,an atmosphere he has never before or since experienced and would love to be the man to turn around LFC's fortune.

People of his age remember the great LFC teams and are well aware of the history and traditions of our great club.

I feel although he has been a bit of a cock towards LFC,it was maybe out of the admiration he has towards LFC rather than anything else,it's just his ego is too big for him to admit it.

The man who turns LFC around and brings home the Premiership will be the at the pinnacle of their career and will achieve a world wide status as the very best in their job.It certainly won't get much bigger than that.

I'm not sure he actually said that.IIRC,he said it would be difficult for him to come here.

I think he's had it easy.

Bar over-achieving with Porto, he's kinda had success where it has been expected. I *think* he could see Liverpool as a chance to prove his 'greatness'.

I know what you're saying about Comolli, I think it needs to be all about Jose.

He says a lot of things, but I know what you are saying.

He definitely has the ego to think he is the natural successor to Ferguson and it's quite the job to follow on.

The chance to spend money with Man City is really if he wants more success handed to him or if actually wants to take on a challenge.

His CV will always make him a possibility - it's whether he is ready to take on a job that isn't *easy*.

The 'cock' thing is true. I know a lot of people wouldn't want him here, but I think if he was to restore us to former glory's it would be instantly forgotten. It would be a media circus though.

not someone who can build a legacy.

its about short term success, huge losses and then massive fallouts.

we need a longer term plan and strategy for continued success.

The legacy bit is bang-on, but would you take two titles in a row now, or *pray* that someone comes around that's gonna be extraordinary and pick up a series of titles in ten years time?

It's all about Villas Boas now if it doesn't work out with Kenny. Mourinho is old news now
