I'd pretty much agree, his concentration when we were in possession didn't seem brilliant to me.

I'm on the fence as to the impact Glen sometimes has upon Skrtel (or the other way around) as there remains something in that area of the pitch that just isn't quite as tight as it should be, but discussions about both of them seem to become very polarised when really both have up and down sides... in general and in the last game

The sooner we get a a full back in the summer the better. I'm lost for words just how poor he is defensively particularly when it comes to closing down or should I say the lack of closing down his opponent. I know their second goal deflected off Johnson but it was such a **** attempt by him to block the cross. At least show some proper intent, don't just stick your foot out. ffs He's a liability no doubt about it imo.

He just drifts off. Can't afford to have him only paying attention for parts of the game. Can't bin him off yet though, buy in some decent youngster as competition to wake him up and if he's no good bin him off next summer.

There was a moment in the first half where he sloppily gave the ball away and we were immediately under pressure. Seems to be something he's guilty of on a regular basis currently. Hope he snaps out of it

I know you like him Shaggy but don't be such a patronising prick. I've given my opinions over the years about Johnson's defensive game and how he more often than not allows crosses in the box and I stand by them. He is a liability. Not arsed whether you agree with me or not but don't be a prick about it.

Well it was running out to close the ball down and overcommitting that played an important role in that goal when Sterling was easily sidestepped by Clichy before he passed it to Silva. Johnson actually did his job and got a toe in dispossessing Silva, but it fell to Nasri, who played it right back to Silva before scoring.
