I'm actually talking about the bit after it fell to Nasri. He quite clearly could have made more of an effort to stop Silva's cross from coming in but he made an half arse attempt to stop the cross and the ball ended up going in off his foot. Had he really stuck his leg out worse case scenario is it would have gone out for a corner. Gerrard 's block to stop Dzeko is exactly the kind of thing I wanted Johnson to do.

I know you are, but I just think that's overly harsh. To do that I think he'd have had to dive in rather than stay on his feet and being so close to Silva that would have ran the risk of giving away a penalty. Was just unlucky IMO.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

            Nah mate, I'm gonna reply.

You give the impression you don't know what it means since you're essentially saying we would be better off playing with 10 men. Not arsed if you don't rate him but you simply can't justify calling him a liability. Because he isn't one. His presence in the team does not put us at a disadvantage and he is not responsible for the concession of loads of goals.

He's not perfect and is prone to brain farts, but he's a classy right back which is why a succession of top managers have kept picking him all the time. Benitez, Capello, Rodgers. Maybe someone should've told them all he's a liability.

Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Sorry, I disagree. Like I said I look how Gerrard put a fantastic tackle in to block Dzeko's shot and it's something Johnson could have done imo. He has a habit of allowing crosses in, it's not the first time.

We're top of the league,we've just beaten the best team in the country, stop moaning and enjoy it. The manager will take stock in the summer,in any case I think he's off unless he fancies a massive pay cut.

Who do you think we might replace him with G ?

I have no idea. Speculation earlier this year in the echo which said he'll be off unless he takes a pay cut and he doesn't seem to fancy that.Maybe a league medal and a chance to be a part of something special for years will change his mind.

I totally disagree. Wide players often get joy down his side because of his poor positioning, his failure to close them down and the fact he simply doesn't make more of an effort to stop crosses in. I've lost count the number of errors he's made. He is a weak link and as far as I'm concerned a "liability". I'd be very happy to upgrade on him next summer which I expect Rodgers to do.

Obviously but RB would be right down my list. Just to get a player to match what Johnson brings would probably cost £20 million

I think we'll be signing a left back and Flanagan will be moving over if Johnson is off.

Johnson is not a liability; he has his odd poor moments/games but they're far outweighed by the positives he brings to our side.
