When he has a bad game he is really bad . A load of attacks breakdown at him. Unfortunately his bad games are more regular now sprinkled with the odd decent game.

He is on an obscene wage and is an international. He doesnt justify his wage nor does he play like an international

This has nothing to do with blaming Johnson. He's not the reason why we lost today. The disappointing thing for me is time and time again Johnson received the ball in acres of space but too often he slowed things down and our moves broke down because of him. He just doesn't seem to run with any conviction and ends up running into an opponent. I have never known a player to play on their natural side but insist on cutting inside even when the opportunity is there to cross the ball with their stronger foot. Anyone would think his poor showing is a one off but its not, he's been under-performing for quite a while now. He just isn't playing like an international player.

He did okay he wasn't our worst player today. It was just a slip-up by Gerrard that cost us the game. If that hadn't happened the outcome would probably have been a nil nil and nobody would have complained.

Didn't have a brilliant game, but few of our players did. No grounds to single him out for criticism today, however looking at the season as a whole GJ's performances have not been consistently strong at all. A couple of seasons ago he was up there among our very best players, however it is very hard to see that he is still at that level at all.

I think we'll be looking at alternatives next year; whether that means bringing in a top quality LB and giving him some serious competition from Flanno & Wisdom, or actually going out to find a direct replacement I'm not sure, but if you consider the entire season he has certainly given one of the weakest individual performances out of our first XI.

He's nowhere near the level he previously was. He looks so slow and cumbersome at times. His crossing is absolutely dire too.

I'd flog him off if we can get a decent fee, but I've been saying that for two years now.
