Looking at Carra's assesment of the 3 goals.. Glen Johnson at fault for all 3. Skrtel pulls out for the third for sure but Lucas doesn't follow the man & Johnson just marks nobody.

Look i've been whinging all season about Johnson i know that but as i've said time and time again in this thread.. Alan Hansen got Johnson nailed on about how he defends. His body position is all wrong, it is not the body positioning of a proper defender.

How many times this season has Glen Johnson not closed the man down on the edge of the box & they've scored or created chances from. Every game he plays in.. it's infuriating & costs us time and time again.

We all gutted and annoying but this has been happening all season long... guy has been appalling this season... not good enough.

Not just this season. He hardly ever closes down his man. He's not a good defender. I've wanted him gone for a couple seasons now. Hopefully I dont have to watch him next season.

Well he's not really a defender, he's a failed winger - if you are to believe Carragher's theory that all full backs are either failed centre backs or failed wingers, he's clearly a failed winger

He's a bloody awful defender that's sure. You've Alan Hansen,Carra & Neville... 3 world class defenders and they have picked his game apart.

Johnson isnt the main reason we didnt win that game. However his defending is a problem and if he were replaced with someone better we'd be far more solid.
