    He played 58 games for us, and started 35 of them. So not as though there were not enough games to get an idea of how poorly he fitted in.

    I'd have preferred others over him, but had he not always been injured he might have had a better impact.

    He'd looked unplayable at Newcastle early season & was immense against Man City for us. But unlike now I don't think our character profiles of possible signings were deep enough. Just not professional enough.
