Carroll was not only a massive waste of money, but he hugely disrupted our play style too and that did even more damage.

I'd have preferred others over him, but had he not always been injured he might have had a better impact.

He'd looked unplayable at Newcastle early season & was immense against Man City for us. But unlike now I don't think our character profiles of possible signings were deep enough. Just not professional enough.

I dont think he played enough to say that, Kenny ****ed up big time in that last season.

He played 58 games for us, and started 35 of them. So not as though there were not enough games to get an idea of how poorly he fitted in.
