@davidgold: I spoke to Andy C yesterday, he looked fit and strong and is desperate to rejoin the first team squad. Hopefully this will happen soon. dg
That was two days ago so god knows.

Think every player who's out for a while gets the retirement rumour, or drug problem one or he's been busy shagging Will Young.

Are players insured, would they not cash in if this is the case?

Woul they not even take us to court?
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

clubs insure players, but whether the player himself has his own insurance is a different question

They wouldn't have a case if they tried to take us to court.

1 - He was on loan there for a year before they signed him permanently
2 - He would have had a medical before signing permanently

If the club is insured then it's a pity we sold him if true as we'd stand to get a bigger chunk of cash for the waster than what WHU paid for him

I was joking about taking us to court.

I wasn't about insurance though, are clubs covered for thsi sort of thing?

                              Ah ok!

As far as I know, yes clubs are insured against this sort of thing.

I remember Chelsea getting around 5million when Casiraghi had to retire injured.
