I don't think he warranted a fair crack under Rodgers. He would never ever have fitted into the style of play. It was a catastrophic signing, simple as. I wish him well though as he seems a decent chap.
    Are we winning?

I think you're thinking of the FA cup game when they beat is 2-1. Carroll thought he'd scored with a header but the linesman didn't give it :

So he doesn't live up to some peoples expectations, or isn't their type of football player, not his fault.

Andy, thanks for everything. You just weren't good enough, and you didn't have mentality to play for big club, like liverpool is.

Good luck with WHU, hope you do OK.

Oh it felt good moving this thread away from the LFC forum

Seriously though, wish him all the luck there. Never fitted in the style after manager change, but reckon he will fit in well at WH.

Yep, wish him all the best except against us. Obviously.

I remember Melwood the day Carroll signed. Never seen a player as nervous. He hated being interviewed but really nice fella. Wish him well.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Not his fault we paid £35m for him. Glad he's moved on without much stubborness or fuss (unlike some of the other turds we've signed over the years). Will remember him for the goal against the Bitters at Wembley though

And thus concludes the most insanely stupid transfer deal in our history...good luck Andy, it's not your fault someone decided you were somehow worth £35m.

Just don't score against us next season!

I think this will be good for us and him. His £35m signing was a bit of a weight around the club's neck and his. Could never get away from it. He is a good player. Liked him at Newcastle. We just paid way over the odds for him.
