I think we all do mate but hes done well in getting suarez. enrique and charlie adam were bought cheaply, bellamy was a free transfer. downing, henderson and especially carroll were all overpriced.

but he did get rid of a lot of deadwood and deserves credit for that.

The problem is we have been seriously ripped off with regards to Carroll & Downing, simply because they're English. Carroll should have cost no more than 20 million & Downing no more than 12 million imo. The problem is we were desperate & needed some English players in the squad. Unfortunately 95% of English players are not good enough for this club imo...

Agreed, as it stands we look better with him in the team. Suarez gets more room aswell. I'd sign another striker in the summer but I'd keep him and play him with Suarez till the end of this season.

I'm glad to say that he's proving me wrong. He's looking the part lately, just needs to be more consistent and score a few more but can't fault his work rate and all round play tonight. I don't think he lost the ball many times. Excellent.
