We always look better without Carroll in the side.
That's down to the manager being strong minded enough to do the right thing, regardless of fee. The media can write and say a load of stuff to influence a manager's decisions too, but it doesnt mean he should make decisions based on that either.

If the manager has some character, it wont matter.

Been through this before Craig. Fee doesn't matter if we have an inifinite amount of resource, otherwise it's a greater amount of money that couldve been spent better elsewhere on the other holes in our squad. Or we have to compare him with other strikers of his price bracket (or perhaps about £10m lower if you argue his wages aren't comparable to those & you have to factor those in to see the whole picture).

AC might be a half-decent player for us eventually, but I'm not sure he'll ever justify the outlay. It's pretty simple, you pay more cos you expect more, whether that be in the short or longer term.

You wouldn't blow £70K on a car if you didn't expect certain things above the norm for it would you? Especially not if you needed a caravan too.
      3rd place. Worst champions ever.

        Camper van for the win.

How does anyone expect a striker to consistently perform when he's yanked out of the side even after playing well?

Dalglish's management of Carroll has been atrocious.

I think he might be losing patience with him.

Carroll recently has put in the minimum effort expected, chasing down, pressing and linking play.

However, he hasn't been aggressive, nor getting into good positions. There's been numerous debates here and elsewhere, but the last two games have me raising my eyebrows about his future.

I'm not sure about last week but I think he's been left out today because he will start on Tuesday, I think we'll see about 4 changes for Tuesdays game.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

                  Does it?

I'll add that he hasn't shown enough though to warrant starting regularly.

Everytime he plays, he needs to go above the minimum level required, and he hasn't done.

I expect him to play a part in this game and against Everton though.

He's miles more dangerous than anyone else in our attack not named Suarez.

He had been improving a lot and started to look dangerous. Why the **** pull him out now? Poor form (from this side of the fence of course).

Bellamy was such a good buy because he's such a good player. If he'd cost £10m, he'd still be a good buy.

What if we'd bought Bellamy for £50 mil. Would he still be a good buy? Value has to be taken into account when judging a transfer - unless you have unlimited funds, which we don't.

Also spunking large amounts of cash on **** players will have an impact on future spends. Why weren't we active in the January transfer window when we were badly in need of midfielder and a striker???

Was there anyone who we could've brought in?

I would be amazed if there wasn't.
