Carroll is a lad low of confidence anyway right now so I was pretty shocked to see Kenny giving him the hook.

Not just about today, he's just a **** footballer all round. I think Kenny has lost faith in him and realised what most of us knew long ago.

I felt sorry for the big lad today.

He never asked to join us, was transferred because we offered silly money for him. It must have hurt him to be derided by the fans he once stood amongst, having realistically done nothing wrong. He tried hard first 20 mins or so, and then faded as did the rest of the team. Enrique had a mare as well. Not that he was alone.Bad day on top of a number of recent bad days. I thought I'd be happy with a good showing in the 2 cups and a good showing in the league, but this run we are on is awful.
