      Rob Jones what a player.

As has been said on here, had it not been for his injury, that majestic Manc 'tashe might never have been witnessed by England fans.

Actually had it not been for Gordon Strachan's inability to see that RJ was actually quite good that famous 'tashe might not ever have been seen at Old Toilet let alone playing for England.

Carr pre-injury i'd say was better and for me, Finnan.

**** it, Josemi was better than that wank Neville too.

How old is Alves and should we be in for him if he is coming to The England?

If Alves ever gets to see how this thread has turned into a parpfest lauding Gary Neville, he's even going to feel even more insulted.
            .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Seriously though racism in Spanish football does seem endemic. They are miles behind the UK on this. Is it entirely reflective of Spanish society as a whole or is it somehow worse in football?

27 years old according to Wikipedia.

I reckon we should be looking for someone younger, up and coming and cheaper. Rafa already tried to buy Alves at the perfect age, but it didn't come off. Of course, it might not be necessary to look for anyone because young Kelly is doing a great job out there even though he's supposed to be a centre back by trade.

Okay. New thread rule. This is the last post in which Gary Neville is to be referred to by name in this thread. If you really must talk about the ****, you may refer to him as C*ntface.

Sorry, I usually don't bother calling (or his club or his manager) by abusive names. It feels more dismissive.

Yeah, it's a pain when the thread turns to a new page and someone answers but hasn't quoted the immediately preceding post which is now on another page.
