With Lucas and Stevie still injured we are getting extra lean in midfield and his recall imo makes perfect sense regardless if he'll play lot or not.

If something happens to Adam our CM options are very limited and without him in the squad we'll need to rely on reserve players for some support and none of them have any experience at this level.

Mid December to Jan end, there will be a lot of games and mid field is one area that needs cover as players tend to run a lot.

Looked really really good to me. His passing was extremely good, spraying balls all over the place and was pressing well. Got himself in to some good positions but he shooting was a little off, could have had a couple from range.

He certainly looked comfortable in the team.

I was really impressed with him, the loan appears to have done him the world of good.

I thought he did well and I agree with Rich, he has been criticised for being slow and lethargic but I thought he covered good ground and did very well.
