I thought the offal had already confirmed it?!
Edit: However, according to a quick search, they hadn't!
Doesn't make any sense him being sent back out on loan anyway as it was going well for him at Blackpool and he was only recalled due to Lucas' injury and he's still out injured so I assume Shelvey's still required here!Last edited by Gingawaria; 27-02-12, 06:00 PM.

I was thinking the same. If we'd signed someone late in the window and he'd returned to cover for Lucas up to that point and we let him go out on loan again I could have understood it.Originally posted by Gingawaria View PostI thought the offal had already confirmed it?!

Blackpool manager Ian Holloway has admitted that he would like to bring Liverpool midfielder Jonjo Shelvey back to the club for the remainder of the season after his initial loan spell was cancelled earlier in the season.
Shelvey impressed in his short spell with the Championship club as he scored six goals in just 10 games before heading back to Anfield when Lucas Leiva was ruled out for the rest of the season.
The young midfielder has struggled to make it into the first team since his return to Liverpool and has made just four appearances since November.
Blackpool are hoping to secure a spot in the play-offs as they look to return to the Premier League and Holloway has revealed he would like Shelvey back at Bloomfield Road.
"I will be ringing Liverpool and I'll be asking about his availability," Holloway told goal.com. "We didn't want Jonjo to go back. As far as I'm concerned, we'll have to ask Liverpool very nicely to get him back.
"It will be Liverpool's choice if he comes back or not as he is their player."
Much will depend on the fitness of Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard who has struggled for much of the season with injuries and the Reds could require Shelvey as cover.
Should Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish allow Shelvey to join Blackpool then he would be almost certain to play every week and gain experience at a club pushing for promotion.link
