Sorry, I'll clarify, I don't think he was being corrupt.
Halsley was doing exactly as his job entails. Listen to your bosses - the FA. And Shelvey nailed who runs the FA: Demento. So Halsley was a pawn in this corruption rather than the main culprit. In manure's defence Paisley, Fagan and Dalglish pretty much dominated the FA's thoughts back in our glory days so we shouldn't complain too much. Demento won't be around forever and the FA will have moved on to its next sugar daddies (of Arab origin no doubt).
As for MOTD, was it just me reading between the lines or did Lawro and Freddie pretty much show that the words coming from their mouths were force-fed? Not that Lawro isn't a cnut mind. Freddie Ljunberg just smirking at the silliness of it all and just saying "yep, I agree on both counts" and adding nothing more suggested everything.
Lawro got some kudos for playfully mentioning viewers should just turn off - sounded like he had a message for us to vote with our feet at the obvious censorship. Even the presenter was shocked and had to change the subject. I did exactly as Lawro suggested and watched Snake in the Eagles Shadow instead.
Funny how all the inconsistency went in their favour and against us.
Not so sure. Shelvey should have been booked early and wasn't. I don't think the Suarez incident was a pen either as the replay showed Evans played the ball.

In my opinion all of the big calls went their way. Evans get any touch on the ball - yesterday they showed a super super slow-mo and close up. Evans missed the ball, Suarez gets a toe on it, moves the ball, Evans fouls Suarez.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’
I don't think Halsey's corrupt but I do think Man United have had so many decisions in their favour over such a long period that it contravenes the laws of probability. And that requires an explanation.
. Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

Fair enough. On the replay I saw looked like Evans got a toe to the ball. Will have to see it again.
The penalty against was obviously soft. Seen many similar given before, and many similar not given.
He definitely didn't get the ball. Suarez got to the ball first, toed it away and Evans then fouled Suarez.

How **** is it though that we constantly have to debate refereeing decisions. Cricket, Rugby or any other ****ing sport. They all have bad decisions. But not every other game. The officials in that invariably don't ruin the outcome for one team.
What I mean though, is every decision ever would need to be looked at. Because what we see as a dodgy decision, the other team might be looking at a different event a minute earlier. If they assessed one, they would have to look at all of them.

Halsey isn't corrupt and it's not a conspiracy... he is just a ****ty ref that made some big mistakes yesterday that went against us. Done and dusted now... i'm over it.

Yep
At least our performance or as Rodgers said everything we could control was top notch. Its a bumpy ride of season, I think we just came over a big bump and hopefully we can gain some speed and get back on our feet, we are nearly there.
